Friends that have been together for as long as they can remember,
never leaving each other's side.
Complimenting, without taking each other's place.
Creating concoctions, stirring up memories, adding sweetness to darkness.
"Cream, sugar...one spoon or two?"
The unmeasurable gift of knowing that you are loved...
photo: 19th century, French flow blue, sugar and creamer...that I carried from France to Willows for my friend Shelley.
p.s. Thank you Paula, the music you sent me is perfect with the white chocolate tea, Obrigado!
Beautiful Flow Blue and how wonderful to be in touch with childhood friends who knows you inside out without judgement.

Those two almost look like dollhouse miniatures. They remind me of my dollhouse days and the friends I shared that joy with...

I really, really love these blue and white china things. (I don't know the proper name). I always thought I would love to have a blue, white and sunny yellow kitchen... That is very French, no? LOL

Corey,
How fortunate I am to have a childhood friend who would carry my flow blue creamer and sugar bowl from France to California. It sits proudly in my flow blue cabinet! It is something I look at all day long.
Thanks!!!!!!

Today was the memorial service for one of my very dearest friends. How beautiful to stop by to see you and read your lovely post. It made me rejoice that I have so many memories to cherish.

I don't know why but blue and white together just speak to me. They make me feel happy. I painted a little bathroom blue and the doors white-I love it.

great photo, lovely creamer and sugar bowl. The swirl of colors is gorgeous.
And what a great poem, partnering the two.

i also love that although they are simliar they have their differences and each one has their own job/purpose. they don't have to envy each other because they know their purpose is just as important as the other one's.

I love the conversation they are having.
Is it too rude to eavesdrop?
take care, g
