Ooooo....a floor plan! This is one of my favorite things ever....Can't wait to see it!

Toni

Fun stuff! We call the boards under the floors sleepers.
They are lying down under the blanket of the floor!
Enjoy your project!

Karen@PasGrand-Chose

Definitely better to know afterwards rather than before about a bomb threat! Glad you arrived safely. I'm really enjoying your photo essays about the renovation, and like many of your followers, I'm sure, appreciating the hunky torsos amidst the dust and excavations :)))

Celeste

So if the water/electric meters are inside you must be there to answer the door to have them read?

martina

How are you going to make the meters look less obvious? Makes sense those slats are called base boards. What do they call the moulding on top of the floor, against the base of the wall?

Carolyn from Pittsburgh

love the work photos. The floor does not seem so ugly, but...ah, I love a floor plan and a guy with no shirt.

Andrea

Good that you are able to add some space to the kitchen. Let the search for an armoire beging. How fortuitous that you are in the land of the armoire!

Marilyn

I am thoroughly enjoying your posts here and on Facebook. What a job for a little space! Can't wait to see the floors plan to better visualize.

Tracy A.

I so love seeing your step by step!

Nannister

How do the neighbors deal with all this?

Pam

Can't wait to see a floorplan! I agree with Carolyn that the mosaic floors are kinda nice, we have that style here in Florida in the houses built in the 1950's. That's vintage for Florida so the floors are nostalgic for me.:)

annie

What will you do about storage and closet space, Corey?

roses madrigale
