Corey, the place is really starting to come together! The exposed wood looks great. Trumeau also great and love the marble in the bathroom.

Irene

Anticipation is super-high. Can't wait to see the results. I have had all the fun of your renovation, minus the dust.

So glad your dental work was a success!

Sherri Richter

Love the chandeliers and the way you approach projects! Creating ( or re-creating ) is so relaxing, never feels like work! :)

Rita Darnell

What did the dentist do to your tooth? Cap it, fill it?

Celeste

LOL!
Told ya so!

French la Vie

Hi Rita,
Capped it.

Dana Smith

Since I plan to ONLY stay in your apartment when we come to France you can give me excellent directions to the Cut Off Jeans Tooth Genie!

I read somewhere a few years ago that to take the gold finish off metal tables etc. you can use oven cleaner. It leaves a chrome color metal. Been too chicken to try that one. The trumeau looks magnifique!

Kathie B

Corey, Farmboy Husband estimates that such dental work in the US would probably cost 10X what you paid in France.

Lorrie

Beautiful chandeliers, beautiful painter. So glad you had your tooth fixed easily.
My husband broke a front tooth when we were in Paris several years ago - on his breakfast baguette! He looked like he had been in a very bad fight.
Since it was Saturday, our hotel concierge didn't know of any dentists open. They gave us a list of dentists on Rue Voltaire and we strolled the street until we found one working that day.
He fixed Tim's tooth very well - our Canadian dentist was pleased!

Marilyn

Love the chandeliers painted in the unknown color.
Glad your tooth is fixed and I will remember that if I need a dentist in Paris I will call you.

karen

Woah....That is a fast $800 here. Do they charge non residents the same as you pain?

The apartment looks wonderful, and I hope (fingers-crossed!) I get to swoon over it in person during my upcoming visit to Paris! I'm sorry it wasn't known if it would be available for this trip -- hopefully it'll be available for rent on a return trip if I'm so lucky to come back. I've enjoyed following your progress and creativity - you have mined a jewel!

By the way, you have the best hair!

24/7 in France

Beautiful chandeliers and look - BRAVO!

jeanie

Painting with a sock. Brilliant. That's a tip I'll probably try myself in the next few weeks!

I'll skip the ladder part.

Julie Schaefer

Love. Love. Love. Can already see how fabulous the apartment will be, and astounded at how quickly remodeling is accomplished in France.

JudyO

Enjoy seeing the progress you've made and love your chignon. Makes me want to grow my hair😊

Marie

Love your hair that way. You should wear it up in a twist(growing up that was known as a "French" twist!) more often. Enjoying seeing the progress on your apartment.

Gail

Love your chignon & everything else. The apt. Is looking fab!
