"heaven sighs", oh how magical!

I remember seeing Piaf sing on "The Ed Sullivan Show" when I was a kid: "La vie en rose," "Non, je ne regrette rien," "Milord"...

It's been YEARS since I have heard this song. My Mother used to own a record shop (started in 1946) and she used to play this all the time; along with MANY other famous singers of the day. She sold tons of records in their heyday. I have wonderful memories of sitting in her store as a 5 yr old and listening to this lovely song.

I will always associate this song with my parents and their passionate love for each other.
