Re Luvaria Ulisses: Did you know that Lisbon's name derives etymologically from Ulysses?

On our first trip to Lisbon, we each bought a 48-hour pass good for unlimited rides on three of the hop-on/hop-off tour bus lines (with ear-phone narration in a dozen languages); this was most useful in orienting us to the layout of the city.

BTW, did you experience immediate déjà vu upon seeing the April 25th Bridge? As well you should have!

It too was fabricated by Ambridge, Pennsylvania's, own American Bridge Company.

Oops, it was the Bay Bridge that Ambridge constructed. My bad.

I think I would like a Ginja. I love cherries! Beautiful pictures as always!

So it's a cherry flavored gin? At €1.20 a glass, you can make a pretty good happy hour out of it, lol.

That wrought iron Gothic stairway is nothing short of remarkable. Love that the black and white sidewalks are imperfect.

The Ginja sounds good eventhough I don't usually drink. I would have to taste. What color blanket did you get? They are lovely! What a wonderful trip.

I loved trying Ginja for the first time, mmmm!

Reading your posts makes me want to return, soon!!!!

I love all of your postings and you.
I appreciate you taking along with us on your travels.

Love Jeanne
