I believe you have a talent for spreading kindness with love. Sending love back to you.

Corey, I know you and your family will reach out to Patrice and family, and find ways both large and small to help them in the coming weeks and months.

For anyone in the US with thoughts of self-harm, please don't hesitate to phone National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 1-800-273-8255. Perhaps others here can list numbers for such services in their countries.

Thank you for how uplifting your blog is! It is a corner of beauty bringing hope and light to many people.

We recently lost a vibrant, beautiful, dear young friend. She was a loving wife with a 4 year old son and a newborn baby girl. I will never understand how any mother could put a gun to her head and still tell her children that "I love you." Still struggling and still very angry.

We recently lost a family member to suicide. My heart aches for your friend’s family. Prayers for all the loved ones.

Joy for a summer baby, joy for a summer marriage and then WHAM a death that came way too soon. Deepest sympathy to you and your neighbors. The cycle of life comes and goes, often times without warning.

It is such a shock! Why or why is the question you never get an answer to. I hope Patrice’s family has access to counseling to help guide them down the road to life after such tragedy. I know your friendship and support will be so valuable. Sending prayers🙏🏻♥️

So sad for this loss.

I realize it's little comfort, but please recognize that it's an illness, a potentially fatal one. She was very, very ill when she did this.

I'm very sorry for Patrice's family and friends. Hard to accept on so many levels. So many unanswerable questions. You've had a lot of emotional experiences this summer. Life can be a roller coaster.
