I am not sure I have tasted their cheese, but now I will be looking for it.
That is quite an honor for them.

Crescent City? Not surprising, since wonderful cheeses come from the entire Pacific coastal region, at minimum from Tillamook down to Monterey, so I'm not at all surprised by the high quality available to Rumiano's.

Great article Corey! Thanks for sharing. I think I put 2 & 2 together now that Monterey Jack is THAT Monterey in NorCal. Musso & Frank that they mention in the article is a classic and I think is featured in the movie "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood." The company has good taste if they hired you!

What a coincidence!

How remarkable. Always Say Cheese.
I love all you share

I read that article and immediately thought of you. I no longer have a car so now I will never make it to Willows. Oh well!

Thanks so much for sharing this. I loved reading the article as I was born in Crescent City and have visited the Rumiano cheese shop several times. It's also my understanding that someone in the Rumiano family purchased a portion of my grandparents' property on North Bank Road. Would love to learn more about that!
