What a treat for you all!

Italian restaurants abound in our region, thanks to the many immigrants from all parts of Italy (especially in the previous few generations) who came for jobs in the mills and mines, so it's possible to order homemade gnocchi at lots of eateries. I'd never heard of them before we moved here, however. And we still haven't made them from scratch.

Gnocchi with Roquefort and walnut sauce? Omg that sounds amazing!! Yes, I've had homemade gnocchi...delicious! Right up there with real homemade pierogi!

sweetest gnocchi making I have ever seen! delicious!

Sasha, you MUST marry her!
PS I LOVE gnocchi. And it’s one of the most difficult words in Italian to write correctly.... ;)

How wonderful.
bellissimo,” which translates as “beautiful, wonderful
So wonderful to read all you share.
And always love the photographs.
Blessings and much love to you all

Sounds like a match made in heaven to me.

Wow, i just located a fairly similar recipe online, with measurements of the ingredients! I assume Roquefort can be substituted for Gorgonzola, and walnuts added if so desired (in lieu of, or in addition to, peas):

Thanks. Looking forward to making this. Yes, have been lucky enough to have had gnocchi made made by an Italian friend. Love Roquefort sauce.
