What a big heart you have rescuing 3 dogs and putting out a welcome sign for the hummingbirds. Enjoy your semi-retirement, your flowers look lovely. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely to read your blog post. It has been great to catch a glimpse into the lives of Corey’s friends from near and far. I will bet those 3 pups have a pretty great life! Thank you.

I love that you are so energetic and found ways to keep going even through this pandemic! Looking through the links you have shared shows how much fun you have while you continue to serve and work -lucky dogs indeed! I am sure the previous dog companions are grateful you can find new families for their pups! I love your mosaic -what a pretty planter you've made for those succulents! Thank you for sharing your (very busy) life!

Hello Wendy, I certainly understand finding a sense of purpose during retirement. That’s why I “unretired” twice! I’m down to only a few hours of “work” a week but I can’t seem to give it up....yet. I love your garden, those views and your tiled art! I also help with finding home for rescues... but for Newfies. Thanks for sharing your life with us!

Love the photos, they make me want to come and visit your neck-o-the-woods. My sister decided (years before she retired) that she needed to frame it as "going to" something, as opposed to "going away from" something. She worked in radio for 45 years and just before retiring, started a master gardening course. She is now retired and a master gardener in her community.

Such views – and a lovely garden to boot!
