It's a long ongoing process and only God knows when this world wide pandemic will end.
In a few months it will be almost a year since it hit Canada.
Praying we all stay safe and well and have the patience to endure.
Although just the thought of not being able to see my Son and his family for yet another summer
of 2021 is beyond heartbreaking for me.
That will be 3 years with not seeing them.
Praying we can all remain safe and well
God bless us all

Good decision Corey. I know it must have been such a difficult call, but you're right on all accounts.

Agree that yours was the wise decision. But sometimes it's no fun to have to be the adult in the room, huh?

A hard call, but you are a realist.
After a full year of not seeing our Melbourne daughter and her family, They arrived in Perth just after Christmas...and by NYE we were required to go into back-dated isolation together until the 10th of Jan.due to new C-19 outbreaks in the east. Not the holiday we'd hoped for, but what a blessing to have this time together, cooking and crafting with 7 yr.old granddaughter, playing with 3 yr. old grandson, etc. Lemonade stand about to open in backyard...with fresh brownies for 20 cents. The sun is shining, life is good....and patience is a virtue.
I sincerely hope that French La Vie retreats return soon.

Wise decisions all around, sweetie. And as someone once said, “All good things come to those who wait.” Although patience has never been my strong suit, I surely hope to come out of this with more! *Hugs*

Fingers crossed along with you.
