Your words spoke to me yesterday as I have a good friend struggling now also. I think in Biden’s speech he gave the remedy. Sometimes we need the hand and sometimes we are the one offering the hand. I suppose none of us gets through life unscathed in some manner. I’ve always believed with great love comes great sorrow/loss. But then there’s hope and prayer.... thinking of you and holding your brother in my prayers.

May a new tide come in and bathe your brother in love. May a new tide take away all of his pain and hurt as he continues life.
May this new tide take us all to a more loving place as a people, protect our planet and help us be eternally grateful for the lessons learned
Peace to all,
Ella

I am so glad your brother is comforted by the prayers of the readers of your blog. I wonder if you might be able to use that same strength in numbers to help what sounds like a wonderful small museum in Paris that I read about this morning: "The splendid Musee de l’Eventail in Paris, classed as a historical monument, is the cultural world’s latest coronavirus victim"? I would contribute a small amount if you would act as conduit. The thought of all those beautiful fans being seized for back rent and perhaps damaged in the process is anathema to me.
