Sitting here crying. Can't help it.

I will light my candles again tonight, in honor of your brother, in celebration of your family’s heritage of love, and as a promise of prayers for those who must continue on in faith, hope and love.

Hugs from Placerville,

I am so sorry for your incalculable loss.

I felt a need to light another candle today and lift prayers for your brother’s peaceful transition.

I am very sad to hear this.
'...such sorrow, sadness and peace.' You say it so well.

God never lets go of our hand as we cross over the river to the other side.
May God bless all the family and you, Corey.

I am so deeply sorry for you and your family’s loss of your brother Marty. I lit a candle last night and prayed for a peaceful journey. He is loved and there will always be love to surround and comfort you. ❤️

Stay safe and thank you for sharing your strength during such a sad stage of life. Our prayers and love will continue for you.

Lifting you up with my heart.

"It is but crossing the world, as friends do the seas; they live in one another still."

- A Quaker quote.

Dear Corey and all Marty’s loved family, my deepest sympathy to you all.

His eternal life has begun. God and his Angels will tenderly care for him now and his suffering is over.
My love and prayers for you all and my sympathy.
Love Jeanne

So sad to hear...Love to you and your family Corey. Sending you light and love. Hugs, Lorna

People all over the world through their connection to Corey lit candles and prayed. These are just a few from her California cousins, her Cabras. Everyone stopped what they were doing, lit a candle, took a photo and sent them to Corey. I think I’ll light a few more tomorrow, just because. Maybe it will make me feel closer to Marty. It’s so painful it think that I’ll never see him at another family gathering. How can this be?

I didn’t know Marty but I felt like I did. It made me sad to hear he passed and sad also for all those who are close to Marty. Thank you Corey for sharing your life with all of us. You teach us well and bring us joy. And to Marty I pray you find peace on your journey!

I don't often comment Corey but your beautiful writing touches me every day. I am so sorry for your loss and am holding you and your family in my heart.

As with all your other readers, I am very sorry to read the news of your brothers passing. He is now at peace and no longer has to battle - but it is a very hard day for you all. My very best wishes to you and your family at this time...Jennifer

Praying for HIS grace and comfort in your loss, lovely friend.

Gone too soon. Too young. Too hard to cope with the loss. God please wrap your comforting arms around this grieving family. Although I’m sure it was difficult for your France family, I’m so glad you spent the spring of 2020 in Willows with your family. Love abounds

Love and prayers for your family. May the love of God shine on you all

Blessings to you and your family, Corey. I have been lighting my candle every morning since way before the pandemic. Blessings every morning to my older brother, Joe and to your brother, Marty. My brother died January 19, 2021. Now two beautiful souls are with the angels.

I am so very sorry for your loss , Corey

So very very sorry. God's peace to you and your family.

I’m so sorry Corey. May the warmest memories remain in your heart and bring peace to your family.

Oh how I loved seeing all those candles. Thanks for going to the trouble of posting them.
I see from your next entry that Marty has passed.
It's 15 years ago, always remembered, here paraphrased: As my friend (a medium) said to me and my sisters after our mom passed, "I'm sorry for you, for your grief, but not for your mom. She is in a beautiful place."
I hope that holds true, and have no reason to disbelieve my friend.
I'm sorry, Corey, as I know this is so hard, no matter what anyone says.
Love to you and your mom and all your family, and be well, Marty, wherever you are.

Cory, very sorry for your loss. Blessings of comfort to your mom and your family. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” - Matthew 5:4

Sending comforting thoughts and love your way.

Praying for strength and peace.

Sending you and your family our love & prayers at this time. Love, Dave & Teresa

You have all my heart. I will continue to pray for you and you family. I know you have his sweet Spirit to help and guide you, he is your angel filled with love.

Corey and family, I'm sure his journey was a blessed and beautiful one, sent on his way with love from family and friends and all who only knew him through you. Bless you for sharing. I pray that the sharing you offered us will ease your sadness.

May the peace he has found fill all of you.

Many hearts are aching for you and your whole family. It was so wonderful he could be at home surrounded by loved ones. Even if some might have been through a window. I am sure there were many souls welcoming Marty into heaven. The candle I lit was fir scented which is normal for my surroundings but probably not for your area. I hope your family will be able to gather this summer to honor Marty and share many memories. He fought a long time. Much sympathy.

Will light another candle. We all need light....

Holding you & family up in prayer. Thankful that Marty suffers no more. The golden streets of heaven shine with brighter light today.✝️

What a beautiful tribute of Prayers for your dear brother, our love and sympathy to all of Marty's family. Thinking of all of you so far away, blessings, Gary and Toni

Corey, I’m so very sorry for your loss. It’s so hard to lose a sibling. My prayers will be for you and your family and I , too, will light a candle. ❤️

Please know that my deepest, heartfelt sympathies are with you and your family. I am so sorry. But it sounds as though you have such beautiful memories and how wonderful that you were able to return to California and spend the time you did with Marty. Something you will never ever forget. Take care, heal and be sure to smile whenever you think of him. 💔💔

So very sorry Corey. Keep those fun memories alive.

I'm so very sorry. My thoughts and prayers to you, your mother and your families. Much strength and love to you all.
