Do kids do Easter egg hunts in France?

You are all so fortunate to be together. My son,daughter-in-law and grandson live in St.Cloud and have no family to help out. I miss them so much and wish they had support.

You are very blessed to be able to be with your family.
We go into a month long lockdown on Saturday for our entire province.
Glory be the day when we can all declare this virus is behind us for good.
Praying for us all during this Holy week and asking God for his most precious blessings
Happy Easter my dear one.
Love to you and your family

So many changes due to this virus. We just cancelled our son's birthday get-together again this year, just like we did a year ago. The idea that little Gabriel has not played with other children is sad. Such profound impact.

I still want to call him baby Gabriel! Such sweetness, not only close to your heart, but right there in your home. 💕
I look forward to more lovely stories about and photos of your little guy. They always make me smile.

I always enjoy the Gabriel posts -I look forward to more! Hooray for tender mercies during a pandemic!

A year ago when this all began, I remember my eldest son saying, "I did some research...the Spanish flu lasted about three years; I think we may be in for a long haul...." I have kept that statement in the back of my mind this whole time. I think perhaps it prepared my mind for the disappointments of resurgence and reenforced the idea that we (the world in general) have done this before. I remember Gramma telling me about her Spanish flu experiences "...there's a reason we all wanted a party and the 'Roaring 20s' were the result!" It is difficult, but not impossible.

I haven't seen some of my children or grandchildren for almost a year, and it is very hard! But I am grateful for 'zoom' and 'face time' meetings, you tube live church, and the ability to play games via the internet with my grandkids! It may last three years, or perhaps shorter/longer.

->Nothing lasts forever. I look forward to the party afterwards.

Like so many others, we have not seen our children and grandchildren for over a year. I miss them all.

Wonderful that Chelsea, Martin, and baby can travel to your home to stay. Enjoy that sweet Gabriel and post pictures!

You and your family share a blessing, being near to each other, and surrounding this cute little guy with lots of love 😊
What a gift!
I'm so happy for you all xx

p.s. God bless your son, you must really miss him.

oh my goodness...will this never end?
happy spring with your family.
