Thanksgiving day
( my mom and sister in law Diane are out of view can you find them sitting at the table. My brother Marty’s family did not join us. Understandably, it was too hard for them.)
Sacha came from Seattle with Elena his Italian girlfriend.
As it was an incredible warm beautiful day we had Thanksgiving lunch outside.
Natural table decorations
how to make 10 pounds of mashed potatoes.
Muscles.
The nieces welcoming Elena into their Va’s kitchen.
A Thanksgiving photo from years ago.
When my brother Marty was with us.
This little pumpkin in France.
My mom’s favorite pumpkin this year.
And the canal behind my mom’s house at sunset.
Blessings were flowing.
What a beautiful day you had and you could eat outside in the sunshine with loved ones and lots of great food
Fabulous
Thanks for all you share

The photo of all four of your brothers together touched my heart. It's a reminder that we should try never to miss an opportunity to preserve our memories.
Was this Elena's first Thanksgiving? It's my favorite holiday because it's the least commercial -- just a good meal with good companionship of family and/or friends. I hope she had a good time.

The Holidays are very hard to face when a loved one is lost. Your post to Marty's family was beautiful and in time they will see the seed growing. Your Thanksgiving was beautiful and I love the table decorations. I use to help my MIL mash potatoes for My husband's big family, the same way your Mom does it. Such wonderful memories. I do hope Marty's family stays in touch with all of you, esp. for his children. Love, Sharon
