Cheers and I love to hear of all the traditions and love your photographs
Love Jeanne

When I lived in Germany in the 80s, we celebrated the release of the Beaujolais Nouveau each November as enthusiastically as the French. Upon my return to the states, it became a favorite to serve with Thanksgiving dinner and I would always buy a case to enjoy and give to friends during the holidays. My brother John would always berate me for bringing “that foreign wine” for Thanksgiving dinner.

So sad you had to stop caffeine and wine. My husband had to do the same as it caused vertigo. Your pictures, as always, are gorgeous. I wish I could be sitting there with you just enjoying the ambiance.

Love the Beaujolais Nouveau but almost never see them here in CA. Maybe I should recheck the stores...

It’s a big deal every year in London too!
I prefer Italian wines such as Chianti Gallo Nero, Barbaresco, Barolo, Barbera etc etc

Bonjour à tous,

This year I was visiting family/friends in the southeast of the US and attended the French American Chamber of Commerce's event; I was impressed with the wine. The Beaujolais Nouveau paired well with the lamb stew served and the lovely desserts.
Returning to Nice Thursday and hope a few bottles will be found to compare.

Cheers,
Ella

I only just saw this post ! Am ashamed to say that we haven't had a single drop of the 2021 Beaujolais Nouveau yet. I will hop in the car and race to Beaune to buy a bottle ! will keep you posted ;)
