Wading Through Water

Bundled up my sister in law Armelle (Yann’s sister) and I walked a few miles along the Normandy coastline.

We hadn’t planned it, we weren’t wearing hiking clothes nor the appropriate shoes as we were visiting a brocante then we went to a mussel farm and thought let’s walk back home from there (to my mother in laws place).

Yann drove home and we walked.

Chilly wind, blue sky, rough channel, wet sand and then a creek.

We hadn't expected that detour. The only way to go was to wade through it

We rolled up our pants kicked off our shoes… then I realized I had tights. I crossed the freezing creek with my tights as they absorbed the water up and up and up oh la la.

We laughed as we kept our balanced. 

The some of best fun is unexpected.
