Thank you, Nikki, for sharing part your family’s story.
Each of us has something to pass forward, to share, to give …
I read this above the other day on Instagram. Mirroring. Most of us do not know we are doing this for one another. We go about our days unaware of the true extent our impact can have on one another. Small gestures and words can have a butterfly effect. I see this in Gabriel, in children, how they read our non-verbal signs and messages, often without a filter.
Extend kindness, generosity, hope… all the things that give life.
The, “thank you”, “please”, “yes I will", “may I help”, "I am sorry".
Be the Christmas cactus, be the tee-shirt, be our best selves...
Beautiful words always
Thank you for everything you share with us
Love Jeanne

Yes, I agree with Jeanne, Thank you for all you share. This is how young children learn, but "mirroring" what they see. We must remember to send the right messages. I know you do each day and love you for it.

Thank you Nikki. This is my husband's family story. His father was the only one born in Canada.

Bonsoir à tous,
Normally, I get to read Corey's caring creations first thing in the morning here in France; however, today was rather busy so I am just now enjoying her gracious gifts.
Corey, like your other readers (aka fans) I often thank you for this community, which you have created. However, today's post brought a tear of appreciation to my eye.
There is so much good in the world that is not shared. Yet, just as with your posts, we have an opportunity -- even with each breath -- to cause a positive, ripple effect, .
Unfortunately, your gift of today's wisdom had not yet been seen tonight when I walked past a group of boisterous anglophones. Not only did I shush them but I curtly told them that in France, even when outside we use our inside voices.
Next time, I'll start with...let me help you enjoy quieter culture.
Corey, je vous remercie et bonne soirée à tous,
Ella
