My Latest Brocante Find

Imagine that I have not gone out antiquing since September.

Drug withdrawals cannot be this bad. Indeed, they are worse, this is my drug.

Since I couldn’t go antiquing, I had dealers send me photos (I buy for clients, I am a Picker, that is part of my work.)

Anyway, a breath of fresh air came with this mushroom collar insert piece from the 1800s. 

Happy dance.

I hope this is a dumb question. Although it looks very feminine, could it possibly be inserted into a waistcoat? Some of the male fashions of that time were pretty fancy! Just wondering.
