The French Countryside

We are heading back to see our friends, Arnelle and Rodger.

The wisteria is in bloom, the scent is leading us, the trees along the roadside have a few days of hush green before shouting spring. White clouds have settled in the almond trees and the Cherry blossoms sing hallelujah in pink. Yellow lifts up the dandelion heads, and competes with wild purple irises. The signs of renewal run freely beside us, like banners of joy, such a welcoming gift along the way.
