This is a view for my daily walk of my town, which is snuggled at the base of Saint Baumé, the grotto of Mary-Magdalene is at the top of Saint Baumé. About a 30 minute drive up a very twisty little road, and then a 45 minute generous hike to the top. Not photographed in this photo.

How much of this journey do you make on foot, as your daily walk?
Is it shady most of the way?
I'm thinking in summer it would become very warm. But I imagine morning is the ideal time to set out for a long walk 🙂
A beautiful view, for sure
