Candy tins from Carpentras, for complex fruit flavor, candy drops. Carpentras was famous for such as well as for dried sweetened fruits. Jouvaud, a beautiful family-owned bakery, pastry, and candy shop in Carpentras and Isle sur la Sorgue, still makes the candies traditionally: Fruits such as strawberries, figs, and melon.

I've thought about that quite often while scanning family photos from the late 1800s through the 1970s. Also converting 8mm film to mp4 files. a lot of photos taken since digital became a thing, but how many printed photos? Those printed snapshots will be valuable in the future.

Rocky Road candy bars have always been my favorite since I was little. They are still made by hand to this day. I just love chocolate and marshmallow.
