Did they leave anything in France? Will it be empty next time I visit? I would not paint the furniture brown. I think we're coming to the end of the "brown is down" era. Maybe.

I must say they have been very spoiled by your introductions to so many amazing sources...as for the finds, I would have taken the pink chair and recovered, taken the long mirror and distressed with some gold and both of those Armoire's/cupboards look good to me. I also love all the old gold framed pictures in one of the other images. So my bags would be full! Cheers Jennie, NZ

What a haul! NO, don't paint over an antique. Problem is most people don't know how to decorate around a nice piece of authentic antique. Keep showing pictures, my heart can take it.
