Would You Swim in a Sea that Called Your Name?

The rippling effect

Late this evening I walked from our apartment to the seaside, it took me three minutes.

Taking my sandals off I stepped into the sea the water wrapped around my legs which felt like a needed hug, the water was warmer than I have ever felt.

Delicious and inviting.

Very few people were around, a few were swimming, it was 11pm.

I took off my dress, threw it behind me and went on in.

Pure bliss.

Later I stepped out, put my dress back on and walked home to write this post.

  2. Ohhhhh! Swoon! How I would have been there with you. Recently I was by the sea and walked there at 5:30 in the morning. It was just heavenly. Now I want to go back and swim.

  3. I would have done the same…one time I skinny dipped in mexico-in a cove with my friend BLISS IT WAS! when the spirit moves one….we must act-

    That is was unbearably hot?

  16. Love this!

  17. A lovely embrace by the sea. Warm salt water is the best. The movement of the sea gently surrounding you sounds very serine. I’d make this a daily routine.

  18. Oooh, you wild thing! Reckless abandon. Love it.

After dinner I love to hear R say go…I walk through the sheep fold…remove my summer clothes..and step into the pool.
I swim with the birds as they swoop down for their last drink of the night.
    Pure happiness.

  21. love, love this story – and so happy your dress was waiting for you.

  22. I prefer swimming in fresh, not salt, water.
