Mouth watering photos. I did not spend time in Montmarte and now so wish I had, especially when seeing photos of the art. I would have loved to have brought back a piece to remind me of my time in that beautiful city.
I so wish the timing would have been right for you to have been my guide in Paris or, that circumstances would have allowed for our picnic on the beach. However, fingers remain crossed that November will work, and I will be able to show you Vancouver or, meet up in California if that is what works.
Thinking of you, dear one.

Is he drawing Natacha? Beautiful drawing and without a doubt a beautiful girl! Have fun you two!

Montmarte — isn’t that where three of the four acts of Puccini’s opera “La Bohème” are set? Is there still an actual Café Momus… or was there ever? Le sigh 😉

You obviously haven’t been there on Friday, when the stairs of Montmartre were a water cascade…. 🙂

Apart from that deluge it’s a wonderful place with still all its magic intact but also with millions of visitors at all times. We have been known to turn around with our guests because you couldn’t even move up to the Sacré Coeur, so full of people the whole area was! Lovely, tiny restaurants all over, you walk 10′ and you’ll find the places where you hardly find any tourists but the ‘habitués’…
I didn’t realize that you are in Paris; what a pity you didn’t contact me – we could have received you – we are not far from Paris….
But there we go; if I haven’t got the time to read you regularly, I miss all your info…. too bad! Maybe another time? -
Love the Le Petit Cafe painting!! Wish I was along so I could purchase 😉

Hello Corey!
I LOVED Montmarte….I was there in 99 in April with my sister and we had dinner at one of the outdoor restaurants behind the Sacre Coeur. What a wonderful atmosphere. I love your photo’s. Have a wonderful day.

Love the way those paint colours come out so strongly against the almost sepia background of the street – your J-P is a great toy!
