Ninety-one today.
My mom.
Sharp. Funny. Still winning at cards.
She remembers everything. Witty as lightening too.
I don’t know how many cookies she’s made over the years. A million? More? Pulls out the recipe every time though she knows it by heart. Baking love, goodness, and faithfulness.
Before eight this morning she’d already had four birthday phone calls. By the end of the day there will be many more, and visits, cards, and admiration.
That’s a generous beautiful testament to who she is.
Faithful. Generous. Present.
