Acts of Kindness give way to Healing

Gather the bounty of yourself in a bouquet of flowers, one-by-one give them to the people you meet, as a symbolic gesture of gratitude for the goodness in your life .

Scoop up the pebbles and rocks that weigh you down, on each one write something you need to let go of, then throw them with that energy into a river, nature’s baptismal font.

Believe in yourself you are a golden star.

photos: Flowers from the market, and rocks from the beach in Nice. (The beach in Nice is not of sand.) The same stars above your head shine in France too. French antique star light fixture, I caught it in Marseille.

This is just the way your life is Corey, you are gathering your blessings in a colourful bouquet, and you share it with people all over the world every day. I’m gathering your flowers and now have a colourful bouquet decoration the livingroom of my heart.
Gathering stones to let them go with our burdens is something I am doing when on pilgrimage. Symbolic, giving blessings, a sacred help to keep you going.
When in Nice I loved these stones and so much wanted to bring a few home, I collect stones and shells, but I was “a good girl” and left them all, just as we are supposed to do 🙂

  4. What a gorgeous post Corey. Love the image ‘bounty of yourself in a bouquet of flowers’, it brought a lump to my throat. I’m going to print this off to go on my kitchen wall and remind myself.

  5. yes .. you are right.. life has to be celebrated as a gift.. every moment.. but we ordinary people don’t always remember this..even small problems of daily life are enough to forget this reality..
I like tour photos.. and your writing..
I would come even if it was a photo blog or a simple writing blog.. thank you for making us think about life’s value..
