July Seventh Will Always Be

July seventh

Will always be

A day of love, of happiness, of beauty.

It will be a day I will never forget, a day I witnessed from deep within,

A day that shaped my being. A day that created what I would always hold true.

On this day long ago,

My parents were married. In a small town on a scorching hot day.

July seventh was a day celebrated extraordinary love, devotion and faith that never ended.

Thank you Mom and Dad for showing me a love like yours!

Through their goodness to you… and through you to all of us. Amen.

  7. I like you had wonderful, loving parents. We are both trully blessed…..so many people never get to experience that. That is why we both have wonderful marriages…we had great examples to follow. As a side note I just realized your mom’s name is Dolores…. That was my mom’s name too… and spelled the same.. Dolores not Delores….

I remember April 3, 1942 with similar fondness and appreciation. My parents’ wedding day. In fact my plain gold wedding ring has the date inside it, as it was originally Dad’s wedding band, resized and gifted to me for my wedding.
