Your mom and Holly definitely have “a good eye.” That’s the ability to put it all together beautifully and make it more than what the parts are; to create a look, a feel. Love it!
Beautiful, charming shop..I love autumn (but still 90 degrees here)..wish it was closer.
Re “Gathering Junque”:
I recall a sign we’d pass in the car when I was a kid en route to/from my grandparents’ place, along the east side of US 101 in Santa Rosa, that read:
“WE BUY JUNK, BUT SELL ANTIQUES”
Very charming. I went through the previous years pictures and it all looks so inviting. Your mom stays young because she is involved in something so creative. Good for her. Enjoy your stay.
I love stopping there and browsing when I travel on I-5, but haven’t been that way for awhile.
The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree does it? I want that bird cage!
It looks so inviting and so full of fabulous treasure, I’d stop by in a heartbeat if it weren’t a 13 hour flight away!
Well if not before, we will know NOW where this girl here got her sense for beautiful junk/stuff/beauties/treasures….. 🙂
