Stories Collected While Living in France
Chelsea came home this evening.
Before going to bed she said,
“Mom seriously we need to focus
on the wedding, and not the little
details, we need to concentrate on the
big things first.”
Oh, how fun is this chapter going to be.
Big things first…
Date got that.
The place got that too.
Priest yes.
Wine yes.
I guess food is next, but I think a theme is a close second.
So much fun!
We’ve been through it with our son and our daughter. Both had radically different weddings. Both were so much fun, so beautiful, and we had a blast at both. Enjoy every second!
So much fun and you will do it brilliantly, I know.

Had no idea Chelsea was engaged…congratulations!! Is she marrying a Frenchman too? Can’t wait to see photos from the event, when is the wedding? You must be so excited….

Don’t forget the band or DJ — they get booked quickly. And the florist. Enjoy it, and remember to take time to look around at the party — it goes by so quickly.

I am so happy you know how to savor those moments. They are to be treasured.
How sweet that you have a daughter to share this most important time in her life. I have a son….daughter-in-law did not allow me to be involved! And, he’s my only child. It was a sad time for me. We still do not have a relationship – 16 yrs. later.
