Poor guy. Why did he find this so distressing? Maybe he felt claustrophobic? This reminded me of that scene in The Christmas Story movie when the young boy was forced to put on the pink bunny costume his aunt had sent him for Christmas when he was much too old for such a thing.

I’m so sorry Gabriel was not happy with the bunny ears. But…..I kind of love this. Even now, with older grandkids, sometimes I imagine that an event will be picture perfect, wonderful, exceeding expectations. This is the perfect example of how it sometimes goes. But, all of it is part of the memories created and loved. Even that time I apologized to every person in a restaurant for my Coco’s screaming tantrum.
