Our friends had this incredible stone piece—massive, weathered, and full of character. We believe it once framed a window in an old church, possibly from a couple of centuries ago. Can you imagine its history? The mason who carved it? The prayers whispered nearby, the light that must have poured through it.

For years, it sat quietly in their basement, far below the ground, like a forgotten relic waiting for its next chapter.

Then Martin—pretty strong and determined—decided it was time for it to see the light again. With some effort, and teasing who cared most tge weight- they brought it out and placed it on their stone bench.
Just for now. Eventually, it will hang on the wall, a striking piece of history brought back into view.
Unless, of course, it happens to fit in my suitcase. Honestly, it looks perfect where it will hang.
