Communion with Love

Two years plus of witnessing Gaza’s destruction — the denial at the hands of evil, the silence, the governments that turn their eyes away. It’s hard not to lose faith when greed speaks louder than love, when the machine of war drowns out the voices of peace.

And yet… the people of Palestine show what humanity looks like. Their steadfast faith, their resilience against all odds, their hands lifting one another from the rubble — life sprouting where government forcefully try to shove it down.

We are living in two worlds: one consumed by dominance, greed, and destruction — and another grounded in faith, courage, and communion with one another.
Even in the darkest places: light is stubborn. Hope still breathes. Faith is everything and nothing can destroy love.

When I see them reporting the atrocities each day I am struck by their compassion and love.
