Old friends, dear friends—the kind of friends you may not see for a while, yet reconnect with from the very first breath. That is true friendship: the kind that lasts forever, weathers every season, and runs both deep and wide.
Jennifer and I have been friends for over 30 years. She knows me so well. Isn’t it a wonderful thing to be known and to love someone for so many years, even if you don’t see each other nearly as much as you’d like?
