A Million Dollar Bet

I would bet a million dollars (if I had it to bet) that none of you will find the answer!

I would bet even more.

It is that difficult!

Good luck and still no way.

lol, I love when I stump you! 'cause it truly stumped me!

It looks like a lid, because of the two handles. Also because the outside is smooth and the inside isn’t, so knobs are handles, not feet (plus the knobs look too round to serve as stable feet). It must be a lid of something with an odd shape, because of the dome that comes to points on two ends. If it’s made of brass, it must be something for heat or liquid. It isn’t decorated, so it must be mostly practical.
I’m going to guess a lid for a brasero, a kind of under-the-table space heater or tabletop barbecue. I’m guessing there are two handles to better hold a hot cover without getting burned. However, I don’t know why there would be two points.
Otherwise I would guess it’s the lid for a seau de toilette, but again, why the points? It would be more logical as a lid for a bain de siège, but those didn’t have lids.

  10. It’s an artificial kneecap.

I think it is a tassel maker and you wrap the yarn around the knobs
