A very large plaster relief. When I saw it – it spoke to me. And as it did, I started to wonder where in my house did I have wall space for it- and what was I going to have to give up so that it could come home with me.

Why do you even look at big things?, Or things that go on the wall. I should look at seeds, buttons, dice, tiny little thing that will always fit.

This is what it said to me:
We come together
gathering our stories and thoughts
listening to our tales unfold
as they settle within us
with each other
and in that space
steadiness finds us—
and even in the unknown
hope takes root.

listening, understanding, comforting, brings peace.
